 2.75mm hook/C-2 (US)
 8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted, 25g in YELLOW, WHITE, PINK and BLUE, less than 25g in PURPLE and ORANGE

5-12) sc x 18 [18] Do not stuff, fasten off, fold ears in half and half again (you should have 4 edges together) and sew across the bottom. Leave a tail for sewing.

Inner Ears (PINK, make 2):
1) 6 sc in MR [6] Sl st to initial sc, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Headband (WHITE):
You will chain then work back over the chains. 1) ch26, hdc in 2nd chain from hook, hdc x 24 [25] Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Assembly:
1) HEAD – sew to the body, go around twice to make secure.
2) INNER EARS – sew to the ears over rounds 57.
3) HEADBAND – sew across the top of the head with the ends dropping down the sides.
4) EARS – sew to the top of the headband, approx. 4 stitches apart. 5) BEAK – sew to the front of the head, attaching the widest part of the beak over round 14.
6) WINGS – sew to either side of the body over rounds 17-18.
7) EYES – using BLACK, embroider over rounds 11-13 as shown.
