TIARA (in yellow yarn)
Ch 9. Crochet in rows.
Row 1: start in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in
next ch, dc inc in next ch, tr + ch-2-picot in next ch, tr in next
ch, dc inc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch [10]
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
ASSEMBLY
Count 9 stitches to each side from the back center of the
neck and use these 18 stitches to sew on the collar (use the remaining front loops on the neck and both loops on the last row
of the collar). Weave in the yarn end. Straighten the collar.
- Sew on the arms
- Put the hair on the head with the closing stitch at the back
center of the head and the curls symmetrically on the sides
of the face. Place and sew the big top knots on the sides of
the top part of the hair. Place and sew the small top knots
right underneath the big top knots, shifting them a bit to the
back (picture 11). Position the tiara on the center of the hair,
between Rnd 12 and 13, and sew it on (picture 12). - Embroider eyelashes near the eyes with black sewing thread
and cheek blushes under the eyes with light red yarn.
