Attach the black yarn to one of the ends and make a

black outline of sc on the wavy side of the fin.

(see the photo for reference)

We will make 2 back stripes: one bigger stripe, one smaller stripe

Smaller back stripe (Make 1) white yarn

TURN after each row here

R1: ch 55 (55)

R2: sc 54 (54)

R3: sc 54 (54)

R4: sc 54 (54) FO

Now attach black yarn and make an outline of sc on both sides of the stripe.

(see the photo for reference)

Bigger back stripe (Make 1)

Do the same thing you did for the smaller stripe but start R1 with ch 95. R2: sc 94 (94)….

First of all let’s put the body in the right position – it’s an oval from the front.

On the side (no matter which side is up or down they are symmetrical)

Stuff the tail.

Sew the tail on the end of the body

(When sewing parts like that I am using a single strand

taken from the yarn I used to make a part – It’s a bit of

extra work on separating the strand, but sewing is almost invisible)

Stuff the snout.

Put the stuffed snout in the lower part of the face –

Note that the snout is a bit triangular shaped, make

sure one vertex of the triangle is facing upwards.

(see the photo for reference)

Sew the snout to the face.

Sew the pupils to the eyes (not exactly on the center but facing each other a bit)

(see the photo for reference)

Sew the irises around the pupils.

Now take the white yarn and embellish two circles –

light reflections in the upper part of the pupils.

Stuff both eyes a bit.

Sew the eyes to the face on both sides of the snout.

Side view.

Place the eyebrow right above eyes.

Sew both eyebrows.

Take the mouth chain and sew it in place the snout meets the face.

(see the photo for reference)

We will place the stripes now – larger one first…

Put both ends of the stripe down on the belly and sew them nicely.

Now that the ends are secure you can shape the stripe

– try to make it wavy not straight. Sew it.

(see the photo for reference)

Place the second stripe.

Sew ends of the stripe to the belly.

With this stripe you may need to make an overlay on

the top of the stripe too – sew it nicely.

Sew the second stripe around.

Stuff both side fins a bit – to the point shown at the photo.

(see the photo for reference

Sew the bigger fin on the left side between the stripes.

(see the photo for reference)

Remember to sew underneath firmly too.

Sew the smaller fin on the right side.

Now take the tiny fins and sew them on the belly

between stripes.

(see the photo for reference)

Tiny fins – upper view.

Sew the dorsal fin on top – R1 where you started is

near the face.

(see the photo for reference)

Congratulations! Nemo is finished I hope you like the cute end result.
