TERMINOLOGY (US)
A switch to color A (beige)

The number after the abbreviation means how many times the stitch should be done. For instance,
sc 4 = sc, sc, sc, sc. Lack of number means the stitch should be crocheted once.


Sequences in brackets should be crocheted as many times as the number after the bracket says. For
instance, (inc, sc)x2 = inc, sc, inc, sc.

BEFORE YOU START (STEP 1)
 Before you start, cut two pieces of about 50 cm (19 in) of yarn C (orange). You will
need it later to sew limbs to the body.


FRONT PAWS
Start with beige yarn.

Do not cut the thread.

Pin the body and both front paws together using stitch markers exactly as shown on
Photo 14 and Chart 1. Pay attention to the position of last stitch of the round for each shape.

Round 15: With the uncut thread from the previous round crochet a round of sc as shown on
Photo 15. You should obtain 72 stitches in total. Do not cut the thread afterwards.

Do not cut the thread.

Pin the body and both back paws together using stitch markers exactly as shown on
Photo 18 and Chart 2. Pay attention to the position of the last stitch of the round of the
body shape and each gap (space between skipped stitches) of the paw shape.

Round 48: With the uncut thread from the previous round crochet a round of sc as shown on
Chart 3. You should obtain 73 stitches in total.
